Hey Friends, thanks for being here :)
I'm Brittney Ritchie, the owner of Vocal Vista, and an
I-ASC certified Spelling to Communicate (S2C) Practitioner. With over 8 years of experience as a Supported Employment Counsellor at SMART Options, I’m deeply committed to empowering neurodiverse individuals and those with diverse disabilities. My mission is to amplify voices and create pathways for this incredible community to achieve meaningful inclusion and self-determination
My journey into S2C began when I met my dear friend Luke (thisisluke.ca), a 20-year-old autistic non-speaker with apraxia. Seeing how the letterboard enabled him to share his thoughts and connect with others was transformative. His courage and progress inspired me, making this path one of the most life-changing decisions I've ever made. I am grateful every day for his inspiration
Guided by my core values of optimism and connection, I’m dedicated to creating inclusive spaces where presuming competence is central to my approach, providing everyone the equal opportunity to thrive.
Let’s connect and explore how S2C can support you or your loved ones in unlocking their full potential!
